Mr. Sugarman is a principal of Richfield Associates, Inc., a Rochester, New York based financial consulting firm with particular experience in the telephone industry. He also serves as a director and as President of Mid-Maine Communications. Mid-Maine is a Maine-based provider of telecommunications services for residential and business customers statewide. It is a Competitive Local Exchange Carrier (CLEC) providing dial tone to businesses, and a long distance carrier, Internet service provider and serves as the Independent Local Exchange Carrier (ILEC) for 26 communities surrounding Bangor, Maine. Mid-Maine has led the way in bringing such cutting edge technology as DSL (Digital Subscriber Line), Frame Relay, and statewide Internet service to the people of Maine, including most of the small communities in the state. |
