Director
Mr. Thompson joined Alta Communications in 1996 and focuses on investing in companies in the telecommunications and publishing sectors. In addition to serving as a director of Knology, he currently serves in a board capacity for Solid Systems, Inc., Arrival Communications, Inc. and MBI Publishing, Inc. Prior to Alta, Mr. Thompson worked as a Financial Analyst in the Investment Banking division of Donaldson, Lufkin & Jenrette ("DLJ") and was later promoted to Associate. At DLJ he participated in equity and high-yield debt financings, as well as merger and acquisition transactions for companies in the telecommunications and technology industries. He graduated summa cum laude from Bowdoin College with a degree in Economics and German. |
