Knology is sending e-mails to @rushmore.com customers with information on mandatory changes.
In order to serve you better Knology will be changing your email settings to the following. Please keep in mind that your email address will not change, just the settings that are used by your email client to check your mail.
  • Email Address: The same email address you have always had, example@rushmore.com.
  • Incoming mail server type: POP3
  • Incoming Server(POP3): pop3.rushmore.com
  • Outgoing Server(SMTP): smtp.rushmore.com
  • Account Name: This will be the first part of your email address.
  • Password: This will be the same password you have always used.
  • SMTP authentication required: Please check “My Server requires Authentication.”

  1. Copy your existing email messages to your computer
   
  2. Run the automatic Outlook Express configuration tool
