Internet account. This space is intended for non-commercial use only.
Knology is not responsible for the content
of your personal web space, the loss of any files stored within, or other
technical issues regarding the space. Our technical support team will not
support your personal web space.
Due to the large number of applications available
for FTP and HTML editing, we also do not provide technical support for your
web application. If you have problems with software you download or purchase,
or have questions about how to use a particular software application, you
should contact the vendor.
Knology personal web space does not support
MS FrontPage extensions or CGI scripting.
We recommend that you keep a copy of all of your
files on your computer’s hard drive.
Materials and/or transmissions in violation of
any local, state, or federal regulations are prohibited. This includes, but
is not limited to, copyrighted material, material legally judged to be threatening
or obscene, or material protected by trade secret.

The following is basic information for using Knology web space.
This assumes knowledge of FTP and ability to publish web sites.
- Host Name: www.iw.net
- Address to view site content on the web: http://www.iw.net/~username
- Username: your username as assigned by Knology (also your login ID
or the first part of your Knology e-mail address)
- Amount of free space available: 50MB
- The homepage or default page should be named index.htm or index.html
- Logging in to FTP client you will be using your assigned username and
password for your Internet account.
